■Concern The paper used for packaging liquids such as milk cartons is laminated with resin such as polyethylene on its surface. The adhesive used for the lamination process was causing issues by oozing out from the processed paper and sticking to the transport chute, leading to foreign substances adhering to the product (processed paper) and resulting in product defects. ■Background The customer we consulted was using an overseas-made device, which had surface treatment on the transport section since its introduction. Upon inspection, it was found that a fluororesin coating had been applied, but adhesive residue that oozed out from the paper was sticking and hardening, worsening the product's slip characteristics, necessitating frequent cleaning. ■Adopted Coating 'Super TP Hemispherical Graphic HL' ■Effects of Adoption The reduction in contact area of the 'Super TP Coating' and the excellent slip properties of the fluororesin successfully prevented the adhesion of adhesive residue. The smooth convex surface allowed for smooth transport without scratching the laminated paper. As a result, the need for regular cleaning has been eliminated, achieving both a reduction in product defects and an increase in production efficiency.
