Vacuum casting is a method that uses a master model created through processes such as photopolymerization or machining to produce a vacuum casting rubber mold (silicone mold) for replication. In a vacuum chamber, urethane resin for casting is poured into the mold to replicate resin products. In vacuum casting, a vacuum state is created in the vacuum chamber, allowing the resin to flow into the mold, ensuring that the resin reaches every corner of the mold and minimizing the formation of air bubbles. This method allows for very short lead times and the production of high-precision resin products without incurring high costs.
