There are environments suitable for magnetic sensors. Furthermore, magnets have N-pole and S-pole polarities. In general proximity sensors, only ON/OFF signals can be extracted, but with magnetic sensors, N-pole and S-pole signals can be extracted individually. Depending on the idea, it is possible to implement both hardware and programming.
