Friendly Delivery Robot "RICE" is an autonomous indoor delivery robot developed by Rice Robotics in Hong Kong. It can be utilized in various indoor facilities such as hotels, office buildings, shopping malls, hospitals, high-rise residential buildings, restaurants, and retail stores. In addition to delivering items, it can also be used for guiding and assisting customers. Designed with the premise of working in collaboration with humans, it is equipped with features to avoid collisions with people and navigate around obstacles. By coordinating with elevators, it is also capable of delivering packages to different floors. For robots that interact with people, gaining trust and a sense of security is crucial. Therefore, "RICE" adopts a design that is psychologically non-threatening, friendly, and easy to use. Additionally, the UI/UX of "RICE" is designed with the same considerations in mind.
