"ALFe" is a new alloy made of 8% iron and aluminum (Fe8Al). By applying special processing heat treatment to the Fe-8wt%Al alloy, which is said to not undergo order-disorder transformation, we have successfully induced order-disorder transformation to impart functionality. 【Features】 ■ About 10% lighter than iron: Specific gravity of ALFe is 7.0 compared to iron's 7.85 ■ Workability: Can be forged, machined, and pressed (can be produced on existing lines) ■ Electromagnetic properties: Comparable to electromagnetic stainless steel (ferromagnetic, good permeability, excellent magnetic retention) ■ Heat resistance: Equivalent to Incoloy 800 at temperatures up to 900℃ ■ Damping properties: Effective against micro-vibrations (has rigidity comparable to iron and absorbs vibrations) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
