The "Thixotropic Gelling Agent Chikosuta" is an amphiphilic polyurethane that combines hydrophobic "branched alkyl comb-shaped diol BACD" with polyethylene glycol (PEG) as its base. The main chain is hydrophilic, while part of the molecule is hydrophobic, giving it a unique molecular structure. In addition to providing viscosity, it can also impart thixotropic properties.
