There is a proven record of imparting thixotropic properties to cement mortar additives. PEG-based amphiphilic polyurethane.
The "Thixotropic Gelling Agent Chikosuta" is an amphiphilic polyurethane that combines hydrophobic "branched alkyl comb-shaped diol BACD" with polyethylene glycol (PEG) as its base. The main chain is hydrophilic, while part of the molecule is hydrophobic, giving it a unique molecular structure. In addition to providing viscosity, it can also impart thixotropic properties. It has a proven track record as a thickening agent added to mortar admixtures for cement. 【Features】 ■ Provides viscosity ■ Rheological properties ■ Non-ionic organic compound ■ Stable in alkaline environments 【Expected Applications】 Thickening agent for cement-based materials Molding aid for ceramics Additive for paints *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
