This product is a prototype of a product used in medical device implants, surgical operations, and reconstructive surgeries. The material used is pure titanium (Grade 2), and the size is φ30×60L. Titanium has extremely low density, excellent corrosion resistance and strength, high biocompatibility, and non-magnetic properties. Therefore, it is an ideal material for medical instruments. On the other hand, due to these characteristics, titanium is difficult to process and requires advanced technology. The pin we manufactured this time is not particularly difficult in terms of shape, but there are areas where mistakes in coordinate calculations are likely to occur, such as where the tip transitions from a taper to a spherical shape. Our company has established a thorough checking system to ensure that products can be processed accurately by creating 3D models and calculating and verifying coordinates. Our company specializes in the processing of titanium products, which are difficult to machine.
