Reduce the primary energy consumption of the entire building by 57%! Reflectix - Example of Subsidy Adoption

The existing building is 35 years old and has deteriorated, with a slate roof and exterior walls, and the external fittings are steel sash with single-pane glass, resulting in poor airtightness and insulation, leading to high air conditioning loads. Therefore, we applied "Reflectix" using a heat insulation cover method to the existing roof and exterior walls. By upgrading the openings from single-pane glass to Low-E double-glazed glass, we reduced the building's exterior performance (PAL*) by 30%. Additionally, as part of the equipment renovation, we replaced the air conditioning with a high-efficiency type and the lighting with LED, achieving a 57% reduction in the overall primary energy consumption of the building.
