No need for wiping with "anhydrous gel" for ultrasonic flaw detection!
Our Echo Gel Pads are dry couplants (anhydrous contact media) that can be used for ultrasonic testing. Since they do not contain water, they are ideal for use with products that should not get wet and in environments where it is difficult to wipe off contact media. They also work exceptionally well with automated testing equipment. We offer five thickness standards, and in addition to the conventional hydrophilic type, we now have a hydrophobic option. The hydrophobic type is easy to handle, especially in combination with gel or for measurements underwater, and is being increasingly adopted. It is also possible to fill measurement points with the Echo Gel Pad for testing. In addition to standard products, we also provide custom designs and molding services, ensuring a consistent approach from design to production.
