The "MW-MCS" is a sediment sampler that can collect surface sediments from the seabed or lakebed with minimal disturbance. The main body of the sampler consists of a sampling head attached to a sampling tube. The grip part of the sampling head is held by a manipulator or similar device, allowing the product to penetrate the surface of the sediment for sampling.
