High-efficiency aquifer thermal energy storage total heat supply system
JGD ZEB Solution
Contributing to ZEB (Net Zero Energy Building) through geothermal groundwater. Achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
We have been working for many years on the effective use of groundwater, and this is the technology we have developed to create a more efficient heating and cooling system. In 2021, we advanced our project after being selected for NEDO's "Cost Reduction Technology Development for Renewable Energy Thermal Utilization," and we completed a 100% 'ZEB'. Groundwater has a constant temperature throughout the year, being cooler in summer and warmer in winter compared to the outside air. We effectively utilize the heat from groundwater for summer cooling and winter heating. By storing the thermal energy released during cooling and the cold energy released during heating in the groundwater for use in the next season's air conditioning, we create a highly efficient system. Furthermore, we enhance the thermal energy on the surface before returning it underground, thereby increasing efficiency. This is high-efficiency aquifer thermal storage. In the total thermal supply system using the high-efficiency aquifer thermal storage system, we address all thermal demands within buildings, including heating, cooling, hot water supply, and snow melting facilities, using groundwater heat. In 2021, JGD became the first company in Yamagata Prefecture to be registered as a ZEB planner. As a leading company in groundwater heat and geothermal heat, we are here to assist everyone aiming for ZEB transformation.
