The soft capacitive stretch sensor located on the inside of the glove can be stretched or compressed, allowing for highly accurate measurement of the resulting changes. The stretch sensor reliably achieves hand motion without being affected by occlusion, drift, or magnetic interference, which are weaknesses of other optical or inertial sensor-based hand tracking methods.
