Legionella is a microorganism with special nutritional requirements, and since the presence of this bacterium cannot be denied even if no microorganisms are detected in blood agar culture, a specific isolation medium for Legionella is necessary. Our company offers "Legionella BCYEα agar medium" as a non-selective medium, "Legionella GVPC agar medium" compliant with ISO11731 as a selective isolation medium, and "Legionella MWY agar medium" which allows for color differentiation of major Legionella species.
