We proposed and delivered a small parts dewatering machine based on the request from Company O, a metal parts manufacturer, stating, "After washing the work (complex-shaped metal parts), we are using a dewatering machine, but the water drainage is poor. We want to somehow improve the dewatering efficiency and shorten the drying time after dewatering." 【POINT】Unique Operating Program ■Drying time reduced by 34%. We propose a unique operating program different from the conventional methods of dehydrators. The drying time has been reduced by 34%. When we first consulted, the metal parts we checked were small, about 2 to 5 cm, and I felt that "there might be a lot of residual moisture even with centrifugal force." To reduce the residual moisture, we proposed a unique program that allows for special movements in addition to the normal operating method. By suggesting a specification that allows rotation in both the forward and reverse directions, we implemented complex movements rather than monotonous ones, effectively removing the moisture trapped in the recesses of small parts. 【Improvement in Work Efficiency】 Previously, the motor of the dewatering machine required rewiring each time to perform special movements. However, with our control method, such cumbersome tasks are no longer necessary, and special movements can now be executed with a single touch on the touch panel. As a result, the time-consuming and tedious task of rewiring has been eliminated, significantly improving work efficiency. 【Reduction of Labor Costs through Automation】 We have programmed the system to automatically control movements via the touch panel, and it is now possible to set a timer as well. With timer control, automatic operation has become feasible, leading to a reduction in labor costs through automation. After introducing our small parts dewatering machine, it has become easier to dewater a larger amount of moisture compared to conventional machines. As a result, the time for the drying process after dewatering has been shortened by 34%, and we have received positive feedback regarding the improvement in work efficiency.
