TOS700 (Material alternative to steel) Achieves a hardness of HRc55 through frame hardening. Ideal for cutting tools, or integrated structural materials such as punches and dies. FMC casting creates a foam model in the same shape as the product using expanded polystyrene, and produces the product by embedding the foam model in a sand mold and replacing it with molten metal. This method minimizes the occurrence of burrs and allows for the creation of complex and high-precision products. For small lots, cost reduction is possible compared to the wooden pattern method. Cost reduction is also possible with the original (material alternative to steel).
