Casting X - A casting method using digital technology for large and small rod castings, for cost reduction, contact Tomo Iron Works!!
FMC casting creates a foam model in the same shape as the product using expanded polystyrene, and then produces the product by replacing the foam model with molten metal in a sand mold. This process minimizes the occurrence of burrs and allows for the creation of complex and high-precision products. For small lots, cost reduction is possible compared to the wooden pattern method. Cost reduction is also possible with original (steel substitute) materials.

basic information
Product Name: Lower Type Material: FC300 Size: 1800×1000×500 Weight: 1500kg Delivery Time: 3 weeks Manufacturing Method: Full Mold Casting The base mold uses a polystyrene model for full mold casting, so no wooden mold is needed!! Compared to wooden molds, there is potential for cost reduction in terms of production time and storage costs (especially for small quantities). Additionally, minor design changes can be easily accommodated, and the product shape can be verified at the polystyrene model stage. Advantages of Full Mold Casting: - Can be cast in a short delivery time of about 3 weeks (including model production) - Strong for single items to small lots, allowing for significant cost reductions - No need for wooden molds, so there is no need to store molds (disposable models) - Can accommodate complex shapes (no cores needed like in wooden mold methods) - Since the polystyrene model is produced through machining, data can be shared - Product shape can be verified and modified at the polystyrene model stage.

Focusing on iron casting technology, we design and manufacture full mold models for automotive parts press molds and castings for machine tools and various industrial machinery, ranging from 50 kg to 15 tons. We carry out everything in-house, from casting to machining, with a melting process that minimizes impurities using high-frequency induction furnaces. We contribute to "manufacturing" and "infrastructure development" by melting iron to create various cast iron products, including iron covers for water supply and sewage systems, as well as machine parts. Additionally, we have a construction division that conducts pipe inspections and rehabilitation, primarily for sewer pipes, contributing to comprehensive social and environmental development.
