The "Rosemount 5408/5408:SIS" is a two-wire transmitter for continuous level measurement of a wide range of liquids, slurries, and solids. The measurement principle is based on Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar, where radar signals are continuously transmitted towards the product surface at a modulated microwave frequency over a certain range.
