Case study of introducing safety and security mirrors: Understanding the behavior of users in care facilities!
Super Oval
We will introduce a case where the behavior of users in changing rooms and toilets can be monitored using caregiving and observation mirrors! (Caregiving Circle Kagayaki Shiba)
We would like to introduce a case where the mirrors we handle were implemented at the Kaigo Circle Kagayaki Shiba facility. At this facility, there were instances where staff were assisting while individuals were using the changing room or restroom, and they were not aware of it. Therefore, the "Super Oval" was introduced. As a result, by installing the mirror, it became possible to understand the behavior of users in the changing room and restroom. We received feedback from the customer stating, "We want all staff to develop the habit of looking at the mirror and continue to watch over the users." [Case Study] ■ Product Used: Super Oval ■ Customer Feedback: We can now understand the movements of users in the changing room and restroom. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

When it comes to mirrors, most people probably think of mirrors that reflect only themselves (such as full-length mirrors, hand mirrors, or three-way mirrors). However, Komi's mirror is designed to observe the movements of other objects and people, as well as to show "consideration" for others. For example, one can check with the mirror to see if anyone is coming around a corner to avoid a collision, or to check if someone is trying to get on an elevator and wait for them... Komi's "considerate mirror" is useful all over the world, from convenience stores to airplanes.
