[Production Example] Kyoto Prefectural Botanical Garden Touch Map + Audio Pen Guide

A tactile map and audio pen that enables visually impaired individuals to enjoy the park without getting lost!

We created a tactile map that combines a voice pen (audio information) utilizing braille printing and QR code printing, aimed at providing enjoyment for visually impaired individuals. In the production process, we selectively curated information rather than simply converting existing park maps into tactile maps. For example, we reduced visual information such as color and shape, while adding tactile, auditory, and olfactory information, focusing on what visually impaired individuals want to know.
