In recent years, there has been a rapid diversification of pharmaceutical modalities, including the widespread use of high molecular weight proteins such as antibodies, viral vectors for gene therapy, and cell medicines like CAR-T cell therapy. Maintaining the highest levels of safety, efficacy, and quality in the manufacturing of these biopharmaceuticals has become a challenge. The Thermo Scientific CentriPAK bioprocess container (BPC) is a new batch centrifugation system that provides innovative value in the recovery, separation, and purification processes of biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Features: - Gamma-ray sterilized & single-use, eliminating the need for cleaning and sterilization validation - Supports large volumes with a maximum capacity of 10.2 L (6 bags x 1.7 L capacity) - Employs a manifold system for filling in a closed system: eliminates contamination risks - Capable of centrifugation at a maximum centrifugal force of 7,187 x g - Compatible with sterile connectors and sterile welding - Bags that can store separated supernatant in a closed system - Accompanied by an analysis certificate - Flexible bags contribute to waste reduction compared to bottles - A single bag with a capacity of 1.7 L is also available: suitable for small-scale applications

The CentriPAK BPC manifold package includes six 1.7 L capacity bags and one bag for air purge connected to the manifold. The manifold is equipped with CPC AseptiQuik sterile connectors, CPC MPC female quick connect, and Φ3/8 inch weldable tubing (TPE), allowing you to choose the connection format based on the specifications of the fermenter or tank tubing/connectors.
