We process using materials that have been pre-straightened, referred to as "straight materials."
The material is "spring stainless steel wire SUS304-WPB," with a wire diameter of Φ1.2. The material used for spring forming is usually wound in a coil shape. (Think of the wire sold at home improvement stores.) For SUS304-WPB with a diameter of Φ1.2, the weight per coil is approximately 60 kg. The coiled material has a curl known as "wire memory." Typically, during spring forming, the material is passed through a straightening machine to make it straight, but if the arms are long like in the photo of the spring, the effects of "wire memory" may remain. In such cases, we use a material that has been pre-straightened, referred to as "straight wire." This spring is also made using "straight wire," processed with a winding machine and handmade. After spring forming, heat treatment (low-temperature annealing) is applied to remove processing strain. If you have any issues with springs, please feel free to consult us.
