Basic Knowledge of Molding Machines: Differences Between Horizontal and Vertical Injection Molding Machines
The mold structure is almost the same! The space required for the installation of the injection molding machine is different.
We will introduce the differences between horizontal and vertical injection molding machines. Injection molding machines come in two types: those that open and close the mold in a vertical direction (vertical type) and those that do so in a horizontal direction (horizontal type). The mold structure is almost the same, but the main difference lies in the space required for the installation of the injection molding machine. Vertical injection molding machines do not take up much width but require height, so they can only be installed in places with high ceilings. Horizontal injection molding machines can be installed even in places with low ceilings. In the past, vertical machines were the mainstream, but recently, due to space constraints, horizontal molding machines have been trending to become the mainstream. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
