In the 2019 Japan Packaging Contest, we received the Japan Star Award "Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Manufacturing Industry Bureau Director Award"! We successfully converted the wooden frame packaging used for heavy shipments at Daikin Industries into all cardboard! We achieved the long-standing challenge of "eliminating wood" that had persisted for 40 years! 【Before Improvement】 - All packaging used wood (fumigated products). - A dedicated craftsman was required for wooden frame assembly. - The aging and shortage of these dedicated craftsmen became a serious issue. 【Improvement Goals】 1. Make it a specification that anyone can handle. 2. Reduce the weight of wooden frame packaging. 3. Reduce total logistics costs. 【After Improvement】 1.
