We propose a fatigue analysis process for structures considering the behavior of fluids and gases!
We are conducting weakly coupled fluid-structure analysis using 'Nastran MFLUID' handled by Magna International Japan, Inc. In the vibration fatigue analysis of automotive fuel tanks, we consider the effects of fuel sloshing, and in the vibration fatigue analysis of automotive exhaust systems, we can take into account the pulsation of exhaust gases.
