It is possible to measure the total light transmittance at arbitrary angles of oblique incidence from -60° to 60° for the sample!
**Features** - This device is a transmittance meter that complies with the total light transmittance measurement standards (ISO 13468-1, JIS K 7361). It measures the total light transmittance of transparent objects by guiding a highly parallel light beam into an integrating sphere. - Furthermore, the light source can be adjusted to an angle of -60° to 60° relative to the sample, allowing for the measurement of total light transmittance at any oblique angle of incidence. - By adopting a double beam method, there is no need to move the sample to a compensating aperture for considering the efficiency of the integrating sphere, enabling high-precision measurements with excellent operability. - The automatic angle adjustment of the light source allows for highly reproducible angle measurements due to the use of an intelligent driver. - The optical system is designed in a vertical orientation, allowing for measurements of large samples simply by placing them on the sample stage. - The computation and control unit utilizes commercially available personal computers, employing software capable of various calculations, including averaging, ensuring fully automated operation that consistently yields stable measurement results.

In 1947, a color research group was established in a corner of Tsukishima, Tokyo, which later became the Color Division of Japan Electronic Measuring Instruments Co., Ltd. The group focused primarily on the production of standard color samples and research and guidance on color adjustment. In November 1956, it became independent and was established as Murakami Color Technology Research Institute, Inc. Since its founding, our company has made the production of measuring instruments related to visual information processing, including "color and gloss," the production of color samples, and the promotion of color management the pillars of our business, and we have been active as a pioneer in the industry. Our market share is extremely high. We will continue to make further efforts for the development of color science and the creation of a prosperous society, and we hope to be of service to everyone.
