It is an amino acid with an acridone-based fluorescent group on the side chain. It has high light stability and a long fluorescence lifetime.
The side chains contain acridone and benzoacridone, which emit yellow-green and light blue fluorescence, respectively. (Acd: λex=403nm, λem=442nm / Bacd: λex=455nm, λem=511nm) We offer three types: free form, Boc-protected form, and Fmoc-protected form, which can be used in various methods including peptide solid-phase synthesis. Since the fluorescence wavelength of Acd overlaps with the excitation wavelength of Bacd, they can be utilized as a FRET (Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer) pair for probe design.
