The RV-8803-C7 is a real-time clock (RTC) module equipped with a high-precision, ultra-low power consumption CMOS-IC and an integrated 32.768kHz crystal oscillator. The built-in 32.768kHz is not temperature compensated and is digitally compensated in the subsequent stages. This digital temperature compensation circuit achieves high accuracy within ±3.0ppm from -40 to +85°C, and within ±7.0ppm from -40 to +105°C. The correction values for digital temperature compensation are written to the EEPROM at the time of manufacturer shipment (there is no need for users to change these correction values, so access is not possible). The RV-8803-C7 is the world's smallest size real-time clock (RTC) with an integrated crystal oscillator, and it operates with low power consumption even during temperature compensation. Additionally, it operates with a low power consumption of 240nA due to its unique circuit design.
