It's an era where the polishing of woodworking products is also automated. The craftsmanship is being replaced by fast and beautiful automation.
FerRobotics ACF-K
Automate the artisan techniques (polishing, grinding) and hazardous tasks that have been given up until now by uniformly controlling the contact force on the workpiece with high-speed autonomous control. Experience the level of improvement with excitement.
Combination 2 of ACF-K and Orbital Sander. FerRobotics' Active Compliant Technology automatically corrects the "difference" in contact pressure (force) generated during polishing and grinding processes, which require skilled techniques, at high speed. This technology allows for consistent polishing/grinding at the set contact force without being affected by differences in gravitational load due to processing speed or angles. With the end effector (ACF) utilizing ACT technology, it quickly and automatically compensates for changes in dimensional tolerances, curved shapes, and non-flat surfaces of the workpiece through rapid stroke extension and contraction, maintaining contact with the workpiece at the set force. Since this technology can increase the speed of the device or robot's trajectory, it enhances processing speed and improves cycle time. In robotic polishing, the ACF's stroke extension and contraction control the contact pressure, eliminating the need to move the heavy robot arm for correction, which further assists in improving the processing speed of robotic polishing. Additionally, it automatically corrects tool load changes due to gravity, which varies with the robot's angle, ensuring a consistent contact pressure from any angle and enabling a finish without processing irregularities.

We provide the best solutions for robotic polishing and robotic grinding that equip industrial robots with a sense of touch using our patented Active Compliant Technology (ACT), enabling greater flexibility, reliability, and profitability in manufacturing environments than ever before. The ACT, optimized for robots, automatically measures the required pressing force, instantly self-corrects for complex surface shapes, and allows for consistent processing with a constant pressing force. It can also respond to sudden opposing forces, such as when the target workpiece moves. As a standard tool and as a custom package product that meets special requirements, ACT clearly contributes to efficiency improvements in production processes that have previously been impossible to automate. By confirming the performance of our ACT solutions, you will immediately feel the results. It brings overwhelming effectiveness to automated polishing and grinding (including polishing, sanding, grinding, deburring, buffing, and mirror finishing).
