Kihara's drum dryer improves drying efficiency by circulating warm air inside the dryer, achieving low fuel consumption. Additionally, the hand-tumbling work required for drying the fern fronds is accomplished by a combination of diffusion fins installed inside the drum and the rotation speed of the drum, allowing the materials to rotate uniformly without tangling and creating a hand-tumbling effect by dropping them from the top of the drum. Fragments generated during drying are retained in the pull-out tray, making cleaning easy. Furthermore, the circulation port is equipped with a sliding filter, allowing for easy removal of cotton debris from the fern fronds.
