Optimal fiber modules (blocks) for insulation in furnaces, fire-resistant insulation material with a maximum operating temperature of 1600°C, energy-saving and capable of reducing construction time.
Z-BLOK 1600 is a modular product made by folding SC1600 blankets (alumina fiber) in an accordion shape and integrating support brackets. It is manufactured with over 30% compression, providing resilience and a structure that minimizes gaps between modules during thermal contraction. When installed in a furnace, the brackets are positioned close to the cold side, which reduces exposure to high temperatures and makes oxidation, corrosion, and creep less likely to occur.
