The "PD-AS-951" is a high-power active splitter that can be used as a solution for non-PoE Ethernet powered devices or when you want to split the DC power and data signal lines on the PoE receiving side. It supplies power from a PoE hub or PoE injector, allowing for functional expansion even from an existing network.
