The RV-3032-C7 is a real-time clock (RTC) module that incorporates a 32.768kHz crystal oscillator and features high precision and ultra-low power consumption with a CMOS-IC. It has a temperature characteristic of ±3.0ppm within a range of -40 to +85°C, thanks to its digital temperature compensation circuit. The automatic switching function for backup power eliminates the need for external diodes, and it operates with a low power consumption of 160nA to 230nA Typ. (@3V/+25°C, varying by mode), maintaining accurate time information. Additionally, it is the world's smallest size for a real-time clock (RTC) with an integrated crystal oscillator, measuring just 3.2×1.5×0.8mm. This compact design allows for high performance in IoT devices, security equipment, and medical devices. The secondary power supply charging function for the backup power connection terminal allows for selection of charging voltages of 1.75V/3.0V/4.4V, and it also supports 1.8V charging for all-solid-state batteries, enabling further miniaturization of devices.
