The "Tenshipresser MyBoy2 SYSTEM" is a device that can objectively measure the texture of food when chewed as numerical values. With high-precision vertical movement powered by a stepper motor, it can perform various chewing actions uniformly and accurately. It can accommodate a range of textures from soft items like rice, bread, and noodles to harder items like meat. It is compact and can be installed in an area the size of an A4 sheet of paper. <Developed by Taketomo Electric for texture analysis> ◆ Rice Grain Group Measurement Measurement data of cooked rice from Uonuma Koshihikari is quantified as a reference value. We will be exhibiting our products at FOOMA JAPAN 2022. Date: June 7 (Tuesday) to June 10 (Friday), 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Venue: Tokyo Big Sight Booth Number: 1F-02 (The exhibition will be within the booth of Seika Sangyo) Highlights: We will demonstrate food measurement and explain the overview of "texture analysis." When a person eats food, they chew it to make it easier to swallow from the mouth to the stomach. During this chewing process, they unconsciously perceive the food's textures such as hard, soft, chewy, sticky, sticking to the teeth, bouncy, crunchy, crispy, and smooth. Moreover, when someone thinks about wanting to eat something, they have an image of the food's taste, chewiness, and smell, and they demand that from themselves. If the reality differs from that image, their reaction turns to disappointment. The perception of chewing varies slightly from person to person.
