The Crystal technology is based on the concept that polymer vials are clean (molded in an ISO 5 clean room), sealed (with a fixed rubber stopper), and sterile (gamma-irradiated). For the materials in contact with the contents, COC (Cyclic Olefin Copolymer) is used for the body, and a patented TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) is used for the rubber stopper. Both meet the requirements for pharmaceutical containers.
