The VAD-C1 is a chassis for standalone installation of card-type (board-type) optical transmission devices (for 1-slot size). It accommodates one card-type optical transmission device, such as the VAD-D008R.x (1-slot size), and is used by mounting it to a surface like a panel using the flange on the chassis side. When purchased together with a card-type optical transmission device, a DC12V power adapter is included.
