Lead Manufacturing Process - Used lead-acid batteries are collected from across the country and dismantled. The dismantled batteries are sorted into pure lead, waste acid, and plastic. Waste acid is treated as industrial waste, while plastic is crushed and recycled. - Pure lead is refined in a vertical furnace. The slag is treated as industrial waste. - The refined lead undergoes electrolysis in an electrolytic cell. The resulting electrodeposited lead is processed through melting and casting, transforming it into lead ingots.
