We identify the source of unpleasant odors using instrumental analysis methods and olfactory measurement methods (measurement of odor index and sensory tests).
Our company conducts analysis and olfactory measurements of odor substances (22 substances) at the boundary lines of factories and business sites in accordance with the Odor Control Law. There are mainly two methods for odor analysis: - "Instrumental Analysis Method" An analysis method using gas chromatography and spectrophotometry. - "Olfactory Measurement Method" (measurement of odor index, sensory testing) A method that utilizes human olfaction to quantify the strength of odors against complex smells. It is also possible to investigate the removal efficiency of deodorization facilities at each site.
