"Ceptor-X" is a high-load timing belt (toothed belt) that enables compact design and improved transmission performance due to its high transmission capacity. At Bandō Chemical, the Super Torque Synchronous Belt (STS) and the higher performance High-Performance STS Belt (HP-STS) have been well received. However, Ceptor-X boasts such high transmission capacity that it can achieve equivalent transmission performance with half the width of HP-STS. The backing rubber and tooth rubber are made from high-hardness, high-elasticity synthetic rubber with minimal tooth deformation, while the core wire features a high-elasticity core wire with excellent tension maintenance. Additionally, the tooth fabric is selected for its excellent tooth chip resistance and wear resistance. Furthermore, the reduction in belt width is expected to contribute to noise reduction.
