By accurately measuring the thickness of the paint film, it allows for understanding the film thickness at the time of application. Wet film thickness gauges help in quality control during the application process and in saving paint. Dry film thickness gauge: This type of gauge is used after the applied paint film has completely cured. Dry film thickness gauges are utilized to measure the thickness of the paint film after the painting work is finished, confirming the quality of the finish.
