We would like to introduce the "HARTING connector internal disconnection repair work" conducted in Belawan, Indonesia. In early January 2020, we brought a fusion splicer on board, removed the disconnection point on-site, and fused the fiber from a HARTING connector-equipped optical fiber cable that we had previously manufactured. The repair was successfully completed. Due to the large size of the connector and the short length of the fiber, we prepared for various situations, which made the fusion work challenging, but it went well.
