Maintain Japanese quality with a large automatic inspection facility featuring an anechoic chamber structure!
The "Wave Lab," a large automated inspection facility specialized in the manufacturing and testing of millimeter-wave level meters, is set to launch this autumn. Millimeter-wave level meters require dedicated testing equipment that does not allow the influence of stray reflections to ensure their performance, due to their high frequency and precision. Furthermore, to maintain the ability to measure distances of up to 120 meters, an environment that can measure at least 20 meters without the influence of obstacles is necessary for accuracy verification and evaluation. In a factory environment, ensuring a measurement distance of 20 meters requires an unobstructed space with a diameter of approximately 2.8 meters at that distance, given the side beam spread of 8° (main beam = 4°). Additionally, extra space is needed to prevent multiple reflections, and an environment where the spread-out waves are absorbed without scattering (a wave-absorbing chamber structure with inner walls covered in wave absorbers) has also been prepared. We will deliver reliable performance to all customers using the millimeter-wave level meters tested at Wave Lab (to be released this autumn).
