Safety measures for the work environment! Avoid dangerous tasks!
This is an introduction to a case where a millimeter-wave level gauge was introduced to automate the manual task of measuring the molten surface temperature in the high-temperature environment of an electric furnace. <Challenges Before Introduction> Measuring the molten surface temperature of the electric furnace, which is close to 1500°C, is dangerous as it is done manually from the edge of the furnace. We want to utilize robots, but instructions are needed for the depth at which the thermometer should be inserted. For more details, please refer to the related link URL.
