The parameters obtained include contact position, object shape, and pressure distribution, making it ideal for measuring surface pressure (tactile) of various shapes. It can be formed into a 2 x 2 array with a minimum pitch of 1mm. Additionally, it can form up to 1024 sensing elements (32 x 32 array) at pitches of 1mm, 2mm, 3.8mm, or 5mm, allowing for the measurement of very small pressures, such as human pulse.
