Red laser light is irradiated at an angle, and the reflected light is processed through receiving and filtering to make a judgment. The red laser is arranged on all four sides of the cross-section, and the receiving side is similarly arranged. The received signal is filtered (B.P.F.), improving the signal-to-noise ratio (S/N). Inspection is possible for various products such as ultra-fine lines, pipes, catheter tubes, rubber, and optical fibers.
