Visualization of air leaks/partial discharges
The FLIR Si124 acoustic camera detects pressurized leaks from compressed air systems and partial discharges from high-voltage electrical systems. With its lightweight, one-handed operation, the camera can confirm issues up to 10 times faster than traditional methods. Equipped with 124 microphones, the FLIR Si124 generates accurate acoustic images even in noisy environments. It synthesizes acoustic images onto digital camera images in real-time, accurately indicating the sound sources. The Si124 features a plugin that allows users to import acoustic images into the FLIR Thermal Studio suite for offline editing, analysis, and advanced reporting. Field analysis and reporting can also be done using the FLIR Acoustic Camera Viewer cloud service. Regular maintenance with the FLIR Si124 can reduce energy costs for facilities and extend the replacement cycle for compressors.
