A case where recurring seal troubles were resolved by MECO custom shaft seals!
We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of the "MECO Shaft Seal" at Blendex Corporation in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. At the company, sugar was heated and melted, causing damage to the seals of the mixers, which resulted in the need for extensive maintenance and frequent seal replacements. Therefore, we introduced the "MECO Shaft Seal" that we handle. As a result, the manufacturing schedule was able to fit into a normal four-day cycle, eliminating the need to extend working hours, which led to significant cost savings.
