We received a request for the development of a power supply for an ultrasonic exploration device. Since high-frequency circuits are used in this power supply, it was necessary to design and develop it with high frequency in mind. When using high-frequency circuits, adopting a highly efficient switching power supply can lead to increased noise, which may result in malfunctions. Therefore, we adopted a dropper power supply. While the dropper power supply has lower efficiency compared to switching power supplies, it is low-noise and effective for use with high-frequency circuits.
