Sand casting is a casting method in which molten aluminum is poured into a mold made of foundry sand, and after cooling, the mold is broken to retrieve the product. Our company employs the green sand casting method and the self-hardening casting method.

1. Achieving Cost Reduction through Product Integration The sand casting method is generally said to be suitable for manufacturing castings with complex cores. When products are integrated that consist of two or more parts, the shape becomes complex; however, our company enables manufacturing using multiple shell cores. By integrating parts, it is possible to achieve cost reduction through a decrease in the number of components and assembly labor. 2. Sand Casting Method for Mass Production and Self-Hardening Casting Method for Large Castings The sand casting method uses sand mixed with binders such as bentonite and moisture, and because it involves compacting the sand, the cycle for mold production is quick, making it suitable for the mass production of 30 to 100 pieces per day. The other self-hardening casting method involves using liquid resin and hardeners to chemically react and harden the mold over time at room temperature, allowing for the production of large castings and prototypes without limitations on mold size, as it does not use heat or gas. 3. Supporting from One Prototype to 2,000 Mass-Produced Items The sand casting method is said to be suitable for producing prototypes before mass production or for small lot production; however, using the above methods, our company currently supports production from one prototype to 2,000 mass-produced items per month.
