Lactic acid bacteria testing medium
M.R.S. agar is a medium developed by de Man, Rogosa, and Sharpe that supports the good growth of lactic acid bacteria as a whole. Due to its weak selectivity, prolonged incubation may lead to difficulties in observation due to the growth of contaminants.
