Introduction to Sheet Metal Processing Technology: Collaboration of Welding Techniques for Box-Type Sheet Metal and Drawing Development
I will explain the design work of box-type enclosures at our company and the method of developing drawings.
What kind of technologies and design development efforts are necessary to safely and efficiently produce products that meet customer needs? Since our founding, we have been involved in the design and manufacturing of custom lockers, steel furniture, and other box-type enclosures, and the blueprint data and know-how we have accumulated are substantial. For example, in lockers, we often use steel plates weighing between 0.7 to 1.0 tons, with heights of 1790 or 1600 mm, while in control panels and distribution boards, we frequently see weights of 2.3 tons or 1.6 tons.

basic information
We have experience in meeting the diverse functional requirements of various industries and products through a wide range of customers. There are various know-hows, such as how to set the plate thickness to ensure the required strength, where and in what shape to place reinforcements, what structure to use to achieve waterproof performance, and how to design the detailed notch shapes during the drawing development phase. By incorporating the principles inherited since our founding into the basic design of 3D modeling, and by engaging with the products on-site, we replace theoretical knowledge with practical experience, thereby enhancing the designers' skills.

Applications/Examples of results
Our strength lies in having a well-equipped design engineering team. For new designs, we conduct modeling in-house and create assembly drawings and welding diagrams. Additionally, we particularly focus on "manufacturing review meetings" and "internal design changes (eliminating defects and improving processing)" after prototypes, allowing us to quickly reflect the voices from the manufacturing site. This not only enhances the quality of our products but also leads to improved productivity and an increase in the knowledge level of our designers.

Since our establishment in 1964, we have been designing and manufacturing custom lockers, office furniture, and steel furniture for over half a century. We excel in collaborating with customers from the design stage, providing products through OEM and ODM, and creating made-to-order lockers. Our strengths lie in our extensive design know-how and processing achievements, allowing us to achieve consistent production and completion in-house due to our knowledge of sheet metal and abundant equipment. The original lockers developed from our experience vary widely and possess unique characteristics that differ from other companies' catalog products, including usability, durability, and design. Our unique product range, including valuable item lockers, smart lockers, sports lockers, work lockers, and mailboxes, is a confident creation that aggregates feedback from our customers. We can provide not only standard products but also customized made-to-order items in various sizes and colors quickly and at low prices, thanks to our in-house design, sheet metal processing, painting, assembly, and production system, along with our quality assurance system. Additionally, our production management system and the manufacturing network in Higashi-Osaka enable us to realize products that include components beyond sheet metal. By becoming your partner with our ISO-certified management system, we can assist in product development and sales expansion.
